Security Policy
We do not hold / store any of your credit /debit card information online. All the credit /debit card information that you provide are on a secure server using HSBC bank. Transferring your details from our site to HSBC site is secure and tamper proof. After your card information has been checked and approved by HSBC you will then be transferred back to foods4u’s secure site to complete your order.

Privacy Policy
We as a company are committed to protecting your privacy. The information we will collect from you will only be your name, home address, telephone / fax number and your email address. We as a company will not pass your information to any other party.

Any orders placed are subject to the availability of goods and acceptance by the company. All prices quoted at the time of order include VAT. All goods will be invoiced at the prices given when placing your order.

Price match gurantee
This means we will not be beaten on price, if you can find the matching product (identical in all aspects) online cheaper than we Foods4u Ltd . We will match that price for you.

Meat Deliveries
Boerewors (raw sausage) will be dispatched frozen. When unpacked, these products should be refrigerated immediately. The boerewors (raw sausage) should not be consumed unless cooked, as it has not been cured.
All deliveries are reliant our independent courier company which is City Link , and thus cannot be fully guaranteed by African Spot Kent Ltd. By processing an online purchase, the customer agrees to have somebody available to sign receipt of goods between 9.00 and 17.30 on the delivery day, unless delivery is specified for another time slot by the customer (person placing and paying the order). Failed deliveries will attract additional charges to the customer’s account. If there is any meat products in the order, and there is a failed delivery, Foods4U Ltd will not accept responsibility for the quality of the product when eventually delivered to the customer.

Milk Tart deliveries:
Please note we do not take responsibility for Milk(melk) tarts if they are damaged in anyway if sent by a courier company.
We take full responsibility for milk( melk) tarts when locally delivered within a 15 mile raduis of our company in Dartford , Kent , UK.

Wine Deliveries:
All wine orders have a 10 working day delivery , This is due to our stock of wines being held in bonded warehousing. The Customs clearance process per order as a lead in time of 8 to 10 working days, 
We will email you with regards this lead in time as we get info from the duty bond. 

Deliveries and time
There is NO minimum order value. All orders placed before 15h00 ( Monday – Thursday ) will be dispatched to you the NEXT day and the delivery will be with you the day after the day of despach. All orders placed (Thursday 15h00 - Sunday 24h00 ) will be despatched on the following Monday. On UK mainland only . You can request a Saturday A.M. delivery
,if order is placed by 16h00 on the Friday (extra charge apply)
We strive to have your order despatched within 24hours. You will receive an email from us to confirm that the order has been placed, as well as a confirmation email when dispatched, including the expected delivery date.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that arrangements are made for their orders to be received at the address stipulated when the order was placed. The Independent carriers will attempt to deliver the goods twice, after which time arrangements must be made directly with them for a convenient delivery day at your expense.

If the total weight of your order exceeds 20kg , you can complete the order and we will email you the delivery quote.
Any additional taxes or costs placed on your order by a goverment or 2nd or 3rd party is for your own account over and above what is already paid. This is out of our control .

Cooling off Period
The client (purchaser) has a 7 day cooling off period from the time of order confirmation.
If the client ( purchaser) is not happy with the items recieved they (purchaser) will return ordered items in the condition they recieved them at the clients ( purchaser) own cost. This return to us is non refundable.
The return will have to take place within the 7 days from date ordered.

We will endeavour to resolve your complaint as soon as possible. For all orders sent, no claim will be considered if you, the customer signs for the goods as received in good condition. Before signing for the goods you must check all items for damages and / or shortages against your delivery note. If you find any discrepancy you must note this on the delivery note at the time of the delivery and also notify us within 24 hours. No refund or exchange will be given for goods ordered in error by the customer. If any items are returned without prior notification. The company will not be liable for the carriage or replacement cost .

We will require payment in advance by debit / credit card, postal orders, funds transfer and cheque paid into our account or posted (to be cleared funds) before we will despatch the goods ordered. Cheques will take 3 ( three ) working days to clear.

Any mistakes made by the company will be dealt with, within 5 ( five ) working days.
